Zimmerman Performance Horses is located on 150 acres just outside Springfield, Missouri. With a 40,000 square foot, state of the art facility, they can easily accommodate not only the breeding and foaling of their broodmares, but also the training of their 2 year olds and several personal show horses. With the assistance of Zimmerman Performance Horse’s resident trainer, Bobby Avila Jr, the 2 year olds are started, evaluated, and sent on to the top open trainer that can best develop the abilities of each young prospect.

TULSA REINING CLASSIC OPEN FUTURITY CHAMPION
Always a highlight of the week of intense reining competition, the Futurity featured 94 horses with most of the top Open riders in the industry in attendance. And when the last horse had gone, it was the draw 15 that retained the lead throughout the rest of the event. Jason Vanlandingham rode Vaughn Zimmerman’s Not Ruf At All to a score of 222.5, then had to wait it out as 79 more horses tried to best his score.
